Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Albrecht Funeral Home for Thomas E. Carroll, 90. The Rev. W. S. Carr officiated. Burial was in the Milton Cemetery.
Carroll, a farmer in this area most of his life, was born April 11, 1870, in Easton, Mo. He came to Wisconsin at the age of 15, and married Bertha Yahnke in 1895 at Whitewater. She died in 1947.
Surviving are seven sons, Herman of Milton, William of Delavan, James of Beloit, George of Waukesha, Thomas Jr. and Clarence of Milton Junction, and Barney of Midway City, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. George Geske Sr., Milton Junction, Mrs. William Lauer, Milton, Mrs. Bernard Field, Whitewater, and Mrs. Sam Stuver, El Paso, Tex.; 33 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Willis Lauer, Charles Lauer, Clifford Carroll, William Carroll Jr., George Geske Jr. and Duane Carroll
