Rachel M. Dodd, 65, Mankato, Kan., died May 4, 1992, in Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Harmony United Methodist Church, Mankato; burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, Mankato. The family suggests contributions to the Rachel Dodd Memorial Scholarship Fund at the State Exchange Bank, Mankato.
Mrs. Dodd was born in Burlington, Kan., and lived in Mankato from 1947 until she moved to Clifton, Mo., in 1955. She returned to Mankato in 1957. She was a teacher at Mankato High School for 38 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of the American and Kansas home economics associations. She was a 1947 graduate of Wichita State University. She was a member of the church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the PEO Sisterhood. Survivors include four sons, Robert Dodd, Dover, Del., Michael Dodd, Houston, Steven Dodd, Lenexa, and Timothy Dodd, Liberty; a sister, Izetta Arvidson, Wichita; a brother, Dr. Robert Weaver, Great Bend, Kan.; and eight grandchildren.
