Orema D. Friend
Mrs. Orema D. FRIEND, 79, former resident of this city, passed away 5:35 Wednesday morning at her home 829 North Michigan St., Plymouth. She had been ill for nearly six years from paralysis. The Friends had been residents of Plymouth for the past 18 months.
Mrs. Friend was born October 21, 1870 in Marshall county. Her parents were Elijah and Mary (HORN) COPLEN. On July 10, 1920 she was married to Samuel M. FRIEND at Denver, Ind. She was a member of the Rochester United Brethren church.
Survivors are the husband, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Estelle WILSON, Plymouth; a sister, Mrs. Marion POSS, Pasadena, Calif.; a brother, Hiram COPLEN, Frankfort, Ind.; two grandsons, Robert and William WILSON, Plymouth and a great-grandson, James WILSON, Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held Friday 2 p.m. at the Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home and burial will be in the IOOF cemetery. The body is at the funeral home where friends may call. While residents of this city Mr. and Mrs. Friend resided in their own home 307 North Main street.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sam FRIEND will be held at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home, Friday 2 p.m. Rev. William HUGHES, pastor of the St. Paul's E.U.B. church will be in charge of the rites. Interment will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery.
