Mrs. Helen Murphy, formerly of Lake Ariel, died Thursday in Holy Family Residence, Scranton, after an illness. Born in Scranton, daughter of the late James and Margaret Kelly Fadden, she was a member of St. Thomas More Church, Lake Ariel, and its Altar and Rosary Society. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alfred Lombardi, Vestal, N.Y.; Miss Ann Murphy, White Plains, N.Y.; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Russell Harrison and Mrs. Albert Nalevanko, both of Lake Ariel; nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Monday from William. H. Sweeney Funeral Home, 307
Lackawanna Ave., Olyphant, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant. Interment, parish cemetery, Blakely. Friends may call today 7 to 9. p.m., Sunday 2 to 4, 7 to 9 p.m.
