Willam married Permelia Jane Gifford in 1864 (a distant cousin of mine, as well as being connected thru my mother's direct BAKER lineage). (See Permelia Jane's record for the list of kids)
From records, William was a blacksmith by trade.
[update: 2012 Sep: After having left today's note of remembrance for William, I did a bit more research and have found that William would have been my 2nd cousin, 6x removed --- William's father David was the son of Jonathan and Hannah (Howland) SISSON. Jonathan, in turn, was the son of Jonathan and Mary (Wood) SISSON. (Jonathan, senior, would have been my 7th Great Grandfather.) The line goes back to Richard SISSON (English immigrant some time before 1648), and I have not taken it back further at this time.]
