Lynn Ivo Shepherd, age 74, died July 28, 1995 in Murray, Utah.

Born August 22, 1920 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Isaac Franklin and Viola Ivie Shepherd.

Married Faye Thompson on September 9, 1941 in Ely, Nevada and later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.

High Priest in the LDS Church having held various church positions.

Avid sports lover and loved baseball, fishing, tennis, and hunting. Lynn loved to help other people.

He was a fast friend and very thoughtful of others.

He had a very positive attitude that kept him going through his health trials.

He was loved by his wife and children and was a loving grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Faye; their children, Jay Shepherd and wife DiAnne of Orem, Utah; Diane Gurr and husband Stan; David Shepherd and wife Teresa; Tami Powell and husband, Steve; all of Salt Lake City; 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Loraine Shepherd of Mt. Pleasant, Utah.

Preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and six brothers.

Funeral services Tuesday, August 1st, at 12 Noon, Cottonwood 7th Ward Chapel, 5565 South Neighbor Lane (1610 East).

Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Monday evening 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., and at the Ward on Tuesday, 10:45 - 11:45 a.m.

Interment in Sandy, Utah at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East.
