  • Birth 24 Jul 1891 USA
  • Death Nov 1970 Harrisonburg, Harrisonburg City, Virginia, USA
  • Burial Cullom, Livingston County, Illinois, USA
  • Memorial ID 44057702

She is the wife of my great grand uncle. Both of them are listed on gravestones in Illinois and Virginia. Maggie is actually in Virginia, and Lewis is buried in Illinois.

The Appel's were Mennonites.

Margaret's actual burial took place in Weavers Mennonite Church Cemetery in Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, Virginia.

I'm not sure why Margaret decided to be buried there 12 years after Lewis' death. She already had a plot in Illinois. Probably she decided to be buried in her hometown, since she went back to live there after Lewis died.
