James Marvin "Jim" Bush, 62, was called Home to be with his Lord on Friday November 6 2009.

He was born May 11, 1947 in Excelsior Springs MO to James and Norma (Borgmier) Bush. He lived in Ray Co near Lawson MO until he married his wife of 40 years, Zina Kay Pollard on May 27 1969 and they moved to Richmond where he continued to reside.

Jim began teaching in the Richmond R-16 Schools in 1969 as a speech and language pathologist, starting the Speech and Language Program. In 1978 he became the pastor of the Graceview Church in Richmond and his ministry continues in that church today.

He is survived by his wife, Zina Bush of the home; son Russell James Bush of Liberty MO; daughter, Gretchen Lynn Edwards and husband Brad of Richmond; his mother, Norma Bush of Lawson; grandson, Noah Edwards; brother, Rick Bush of Liberty; sister Becky Crowley and husband John of Liberty; 3 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 great-nephews and his extended family and spiritual family.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Jim was a charter member of Graceview Church and the Missouri Retired School Personnel. He enjoyed serving his congregation, executing and teaching God's Word and serving others.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday November 10 2009 at 6pm at Polley Funeral Home in Richmond. Cremation. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Ray County Home Health and Hospice in Richmond MO.

Jim's family is so thankful for the many grace provisions that have been supplied during his illness and wish to thank God and everyone for their many prayers and acts of kindness. Jim will truly be missed by his family both biological and spiritual.
