Services for Marjorie Jo (Marjo) Massey, 91, homemaker, who died Saturday, October 24, 2015, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buddy Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2015, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Marjo was born in Baird, Texas, on March 1, 1924, to Benny Boyd Gilly and Roxy Belle Jackson. She married Norman Lee Massey on December 24, 1941, in San Angelo, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 7, 2001.

Marjorie was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She worked at several different major department stores as a decorator/stager & gift wrapper and loved to cook. She was a creative, domestic goddess.

Survivors include two children, Norma Cervetto and husband, Bob, of Dublin, Texas, and Benny Massey and wife, Janice, of Midland, Texas; four grandchildren, Kellen Cervetto and wife, Stephanie, of Stephenville, Texas, Stacey Henson and husband, Vaughn, of Granbury, Texas, Shanna Walterscheid and husband, Auby Miller, of Midland, Texas, and Crista Massey of Midland, Texas; sister, Velta Stone of Stephenville, Texas, and two great-grandchildren, Caroline Rose Cervetto and Zaidin Miller.
