ARRANGE FUNERAL FOR QUINCY MAN

FESTUS McNEAL, 69, SUCCUMBS THURSDAY AFTER LONG ILLNESS

QUINCY - Festus McNeal, 69, a retired farmer, died at 6 a. m. Thursday at his home in Quincy after a long period of failing health. He was born in Gallia County, Oh., the son of Samuel and Eliza Jane McNeal, one of 15 children. He came to Champaign County when a young boy and had spent all his life in Champaign and Logan Counties. He was a member of the Christian Church in West Liberty.
Mr. McNeal leaves a widow, Etna Johnson McNeal; a daughter, Mrs. Roy Wilson of Bellfontaine; a granddaughter, Mrs. Maryetna Brown of Bellfontaine; a sister, Mrs. Jane Clark of Crayon, O., and a brother, W. L. McNeal of Chillicothe.
The body was taken to the Reed funeral home here and will be returned to the residence Friday evening. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday at the M. E. Church in Quincy in charge of the Rev. Charles Whitman. Burial will be made in West Liberty.
