Alsie Burton, brother of H.T. Burton, resident of Decatur for several years and Gulf Distributor for approximantely [sic] 29 years, died at his home late Tuesday after noon, according to information received here.

Mr. Burton, who left Clarendon Tuesday morning for Austin in company with George W. Kavanaugh, had that day visited his brother and had continued his trip. Shortly afterward Mr. Burton took a turn for the worse, dying about 5:00 o'clock. H.T. Burton was located in Austin, and returned to Decatur Wednesday morning early.

Mrs. H.T. Burton and daughter, Nelda Sue, attended the services in Decatur Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock.
