—A double funeral took place here at the Grace Reformed church on last Sunday morning. The remains were these of Michael Wertz and his son, John Wertz, who died at their home, near Uniontown. The son died on Wednesday evening and the father died on Friday morning. They were farmers. Michael Wertz was 33 years, 6 months and 27 days old aud his son was 68 years and 17 days old. The father died from the infirmities of old age and the son of a onuplioation of diseases. The son was unmarried and the father a widower, his wife having died not quite a year ago. Interment was made in the Reformed cemetery. Rev. A. Bateman, assisted by Elder Eaglar, of Uniontown, conducted the funeral services. The funeral was the largest that has taken place for some time here.
