Husband of Edna Mae
Married Aug. 8, 1952

Creech, Dale E. Sr. "Irresistible"
Entered this life on October 15, 1927 and departed on Thursday, February 28, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Gladys Creech, and lived all his life as a proud Daytonian. He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Edna Mae (Mercer) Creech, son Dale Jr. and his wife Carolyn, daughter Ginger and her husband Jim Gravell, 4 loving grandchildren (Justin Hill, Ashley, Jon and Miranda Creech), sister Geraldine Caplinger, extended grandchildren and spouses Joey and Chay Gravell and Anto and Jennifer Mendoza, three great grandchildren Jacob Gravell and twins Isabel and Victoria Mendoza, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous for space to accommodate.

Dale graduated from Dixie High School, New Lebanon, where he excelled at many sports and General Motors Institute of Technology in Flint, Michigan, which had one of the most rigorous engineering programs in the country at the time, where he honed his sharp mental faculties. He devoted his professional life as a civilian engineer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base working extensively on the design of landing gear and brake systems for many famous military aircraft including the B-70 and B-2 stealth bomber. He was a consummate professional, meticulous about his work and justifiably proud of his accomplishments in the defense of his country.

He had two departing wishes – that he pass peacefully at home and that there be no funeral arrangements other than a memorial gathering of the immediate family. Those friends wishing to contribute to Dale's memory may make a donation in his name to the Miami Valley Hospital Foundation or Hospice of Dayton. Dale was a loving person who touched many lives and will be missed by all.
