OBITUARY
MRS. ROSE DANDURAND
Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Dandurand of Marshall were held January 16 at the Church of the Holy Redeemer in Marshall. Mrs. Dandurand died January 14 at Weiner Memorial hospital of complications resulting from a heart attack. She had been ill for about three years and was taken to the hospital January 5. She was 81 years old. She was born May 18, 1881, at Clyde, Kan., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Arpin. She was married to Alfred Dandurand on September 6, 1897, at St. Joseph, Kan. They moved to Minnesota in 1914, and lived in and around Marshall since that time. Mr. Dandurand died some time ago. She is survived by 8 children. Four sons preceded her in death. Surviving children are: Mrs. Charbonneau (Irene) of Sioux Falls; Mrs. Gagnon (Edmay) of Marshall; Mrs. Van Den Broeke (Aldea) of Marshall; Mrs. Clarence Morin (Ruby) of Currie; Mrs. Archie Blanchette (Cordelia) of Garvin; Louis of Hopkins; Connie of Los Angeles; and Mrs. Elmer Charbonneau (Eldora) of Milroy. She also leaves a sister Mrs. John Michaud of Cordelia, Kansas, and 34 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Celebrant at the Requiem Mass was Monsignor R. A. Neudecker, with the Rev. Gregory Schaffer as deacon and the Rev. Bernard Steiner as sub-deacon. Mrs. W. W. White was at the organ and the church choir sang the Mass. Burial was in Calvary cemetery. Pallbearers were Vincent Morin, Lloyd D. Morin, Gordon Blanchette, Bud Pape, Armand Dandurand, and Larry Dandurand, all grandsons.
