Edalene Abigail Greenwade passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2006 in Austin, Texas. She was born September 30, 1918 in Valley Mills,Texas to Ed and Pearl Byrum. She loved and was loved by her family and friends and was called Granny by many.
She was a member of Hyde Park Baptist Church and for many years helped care for international children whose mothers were part of the Friendship International program.
The Etagere was kept very organized for more than 20 years, and the interior designers there were sorry when Parkinson's disease forced her to stop working.
She was preceded in death by her husband, M.T. Greenwade; her brother Ovie Byrum and her parents.
She is survived by two daughter, Eddie Smith and Sue Greewade; grandson C.R. Ssmith and Sandy; great grandson Justin Smith; sister Erna Rainbolt and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2006 at Hillcrest Garden of Hill County, Hillsboro, Tx.
In lieu of flowers, the family reequests contributions be made to National Parkinson Foundations, Inc. 1501 NW 9th Ave.,Bob Hope Road, Miami, Fl. 33196-1494 or Hyde Park Baptist Church, Friendship International, 3901 Speedway, Austin 78751.
