Vincent Anderson was born in 1768 in Newberry, South Carolina and he died Dec 26, 1833 in San Augustine, Tx. There is no record of his death except a probate in San Augustine Co, Tx that gave neither place or date of death. He married Margaret Terry before 1791 in Greenville, SC, daughter of Joseph Terry and Lucy Hatcher. She was born about 1770 in VA, and died between 1803 - 1810 in KY. He married (2) Joaniah Landon Jun 23 1817 in Caldwell Co, KY. She was born before 1775. Five of Vincent's sons landed in what is now Graves Co, KY in 1819. William Farrar settled 5 miles out at Hickory. His farm is still in the Charles Family, Thomas his brother lives there. The other Anderson brothers did settle closer to town, however, where is not for certain. Vincent was a sheriff in 1799 in Warren Co, Kentucky. Vincent was also in the Military Service in 1812 (Johnson's Reg't Mounted Ky Volunteers.)
