NORMA MURIAN POWERS
2/28/25 - 7/21/00
Beloved wife of Clinton (Mike) of 52 years. Mother of Beverly and Patricia and their partner and husbands George and Ray. Grandmother to Taryn, Nathan and Kimberly. Sister-in-law to Elizabeth Wines and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends, especially the Stuart family.
Norma was a lifetime resident of Columbia City having worked at Seattle First National Bank and later at Maury's Bootery. She loved her time on the ski buses while with Fiorini Ski School. She was a 45 year member of WIBC and was the Sec/Treas of the FANS league for many years. Most recently bowling with the Senior League at Skyway Park Bowl. She made a bowling banquet a work of art.
The special treasures of Mom's life were husband Mike and her grandchildren. We are especially happy that she and dad were able to do so much traveling together.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Virginia Mason for their expertise and compassion in taking care of our wife, mother, grandma, and friend.
At Mom's request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Ron Byerlin Memorial Fund, c/o Windemere Real Estate, 4919 South Genessee Street, Seattle, Washington 98188.
