Mrs. Mattie Dunn
Mrs. Mattie Pierson Dunn, 84, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wilmer Long of 727 Central Ave., following a long illness.
Her husband, James McDunn, a member of the State Legislature from Braxton County for several terms, died in 1950.
Mrs. Dunn held membership in the Baptist Temple. She was a Braxton County native.
Also surviving are another daughter, Mrs. Freda Zuspan of Fairmont; one son, Virgil Dunn of Charleston; one brother, Byrne Pierson of Summersville: three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The body is at Bartlett Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home and 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Long Run Baptist Church.
