"Funeral for Mabel Leona Schmitz, an Oregon City resident, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Holman, Hankins, Bowker & Waud Funeral Home, Oregon City.
Mrs. Schmitz died Sunday in a convalescent center in Ogden, Utah. She was 81.
Born in Rockwood, Mrs. Schmitz resided for 80 years in Oregon City. She was a member of the Latter Day Saints Church in Oregon City.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald E., Oregon City, and Robert F., Kaysville, Utah; a sister, Carrie Bigej, Oregon City; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Entombment will be private in the Mountain View Cemetery Mausoleum, Oregon City. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association Affiliate Inc."
