Born September 3, 1876, Tucson, Pima Co., Arizona and died October 26,1965 in Sherman, Grayson Co., Texas. Said to be one of the first people to register at the U of A and graduated in 1897. A pioneer teacher and the Roberts Elementary school was named for Clara. Also, Teacher and principal of the Congress Street School. Was the first woman to serve on the Tucson School Board. Founder and past president of the UA Alumni Club and a member of the board of directors of the Arizona pioneer's Historical Society.
