From a fellow Findagraver:
I sent change of the date of death for James Jenkins Chizum via Find-A-Grave's suggested changes. But I wanted to explain. The tombstone says he died April 19, 1914, but the actual copies of death records for Indiana are now available on ancestry.com and his death record has him dying April 21, 1914 (buried April 23). (The burial date seems to jive more with the April 21 date of death as most people were buried within a day or two of dying in those days.

Would you want to make a note in the biography section that the death record date conflicts with the date on his tombstone? (On the death record, they had him dying June 6th instead of June 5th, but I don't think you should change the date of birth based on what someone told the doctor on the death record. But, if you wanted to make a note of the difference in date of birth, you could. Prior to the death record being available, I also had June 5, 1829 as you had. My connection to the Chizum family was through Elizabeth Chizum Loveless (wife of Benjamin Loveless), mother of my ggg grandmother, Martha Loveless Sparks.
