Services Held--Funeral services for Mrs. Glenn (Helene Catherine) Noon were held Friday, February 3, 1984 at the Monroe Methodist Church.
Dr. Otto Steele, Jr., conducted services. Burial was in the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Mrs. Noon died Wednesday morning, Feb 1 at the Pella Community Hospital.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Diane) Pelz of Webster City; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Bob, and a brother.
Mrs. Noon had been a teacher from 1929 to 1932 at Dumont and from 1953 to 1974 in the Monroe Schools.
The daughter of John and Nettie Roberts VanHaalen, she was born Nov. 9, 1909 in Prairie City, was a 1927 graduate of Prairie City High School, and graduated from Drake University.
She was married Dec. 3, 1933 in Prairie City, Iowa.
