DAVID EARL KEMP, 12- YEAR OLD BOY, DIES AFTER ILLNESS
David Earl Kemp, 12 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Kemp, died at 2:15 P.M. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the Harrison County Hospital following an illness of a year and a half.
He was a member of the Corydon E. U. B. Church. Funeral services were held at 2:15 Saturday at the Gehlbach-Resch Funeral Home and at 2:30 P. M. at the Corydon E. U. B. Church. Rev. Nelson M. Chamberlain was the officiating clergyman with Rev. Charles Russell of Columbus and Rev. Adrian Struble of Jeffersonville assisting. Music was furnished by Mrs. Geralding Baxley, accompanied by Mrs. Geralding Hess. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Eddie Patterson, Ronnie and Darrel Sieg, Mark Wiseman, James Mathes and Benny Fisher.
Survivors besides his parents are three brothers, Jerry Kemp of Boonville, Frank and Scottie at home; a sister, Barbara, also at home; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Colwell Frakes and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Stella Kemp.
