Funeral for Connie Valeria Allensworth, 74, of Runaway Bay will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, at First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport. The Rev. Mike Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery. Visitation was to be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26.
Allensworth died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, in Rowlett.
Born Jan. 2, 1931, in Bridgeport she was a retired purchasing agent for Rockwall International in Dallas. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Runaway Bay Bridge Club and Bridgeport Garden Club.
She is survived by two sons, Jackson Allensworth and wife, Judy, of Nacogdoches and Matt L. Allensworth of Paradise; daughter, Kelly Ann Allensworth of Rockwall; and grandchildren, Renee Lynn, Chelsea Lee, Zack and Dylan Allensworth.
Pallbearers will be Jackson Allensworth and Matt Allensworth, Kenneth Hahs, Jerry Steele, Zack Outlaw and Johnny Taylor.
