Charles Henry Ladd , a painter in the construction business and a self-employed auto mechanic, died Nov. 13 at a family home. He was 59.
Ladd was a native of Mobile and a resident of Eight Mile.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie Ladd of Eight Mile; one son, Derrick Ladd of Mobile; four daughters, Wanda Davis of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Pamela Ladd , Yolanda Ladd and Nikkita Welch, all of Mobile; 11 grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Reese Funeral Home in Prichard. A second visitation is set for Sunday from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral at the Apostolic Church of God RPC on Cottage Hill Road. Burial will be in Whispering Pines Cemetery.
