THOMAS KING
Thomas King, 70, a native of County Tyron, Ireland, where he was born February 28, 1869, a son of George and Margaret (Ray) King, and a resident of Saltsburg since 1920, died at 8:15 a.m. Sunday, November 19, 1939, in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Olive Campbell, at Elders Ridge.
Mr. King had live for several years in East McKeesport and later removed to Loyalhanna township, Westmoreland County. He was a member of the Saltsburg Presbyterian Church and a teacher of the Men's Bible Class for several years.
Surviving are his wido, Mrs. Harriet (Churchfield) King; three daughters; Mrs. Ethel Bortz of Saltsburg, R.D.2, Mrs. Mabel Carnahan of Salina and Mrs. A. L. Campbell, mentioned above; four sons E. Clinton King and T. Merle King, both of Detroit, Mich, and Robert L. and James M. King, both of Saltsburg and two sisters: Mrs. Martha Gamble and Mrs. Elizabeth Crockett, both of Pittsburgh.
Friends were received in Robinson Funeral Homes in Saltsburg, where services were conducted at 10:30 a. m. Tuesday in charge of the Revs Joseph MacCarroll, William H. Ryall and Emil G Teyssier. Interment was in Edgewood Cemetery.
