Mrs. Harriet C King, widow of Thomas King, formerly of Saltsburg, Pa. passed away Saturday, May 17, 1958 at 6:45 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mabel Carnahan, Salina, Pa.
Born March 8, 1876, at Mill Grove, Pa., she was a daughter of George William and Harriet C Rahl Churchfield; had lived in the Saltsburg community for 49 years prior to moving to Salina 7 years ago. Mrs. King was a member of the Saltsburg Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are three sons: E. Clinton King, Detroit, Mich; Robert L. King, Indianpolis, Ind.; James M King, Saltsburg; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel M Bortz, Saltsburg RD 2; Mrs. Mabel K Carnahan, Salina, and Mrs. Olive K Campbell, Apollo; two sisters, Miss Lillie M Churchfield and Mrs. Maud Sheffield, both of New Alexandria, RD 2; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
(Two sons, Thomas Merle and Walter E King, are deceased).
Friends are being received at Robinson Funeral Home, Saltsburg, where services will be conducted Tuesday, May 20, at 2:00 p.m. (d.s.t.) Her pastor, the Rev John O. Miller will officiate. Interment Edgewood Cemetery, Saltsburg.
