11/07/1924 ~ 10/26/2009
Eloise was born in Newton, Iowa, the oldest of three children. She was married to Lawrence Edwards for more than four decades. Eloise worked as a secretary. She is survived by three children and their spouses, Barry and Mona Edwards, Julie and Mark Pahlka and Brian and Elizabeth Edwards; grandchildren, Marcelene Olson, Melanie Croft, Cori Pahlka, Chelsea Pahlka, Samuel Edwards and Abigail Edwards; and four great-grand-children. Eloise enriched lives with the items she saved-an interesting newspaper article, a comic strip she found amusing or a recipe to try. She enjoyed square dancing with her husband and knitting sweaters for her grandchildren. She could always be counted on to bring a dish to a potluck. May she find peace in Heaven. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, in Willamette National Cemetery, 11800 S.E. Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland.
