WW II∼SANDERS, JAMES R. Died Wednesday, May 18, 1988, at his residence in Baton Rouge after a lengthy illness. He was 67, a native of Columbia. He was a retired employee of Windsor Publishing Co., Los Angeles, Calif., and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Body will be donated to anatomical services.
Memorial services at Aldrich Chapel of First United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Joe McClain.
Survived by a daughter, Lisa Sanders, Sherman Oaks, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Hallie B. (Polly) Coxe, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Bill (Mae) Machen, Jonesboro, and Mrs. Ross (Maud) Dark, Columbia; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Roy (Ottice) Sanders, Saline; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, three brothers, and a sister, Ruby Sanders.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial donations to Living Trust of the First United Methodist Church or to a charity.
