Funeral services for Mrs. Glenda Barton, 57, will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at Beech Springs Church with the Rev. Ronnie Whitlock officiating. Burial will follow at Brushwood Cemetery in Dubberly under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m., today, October 15.

Mrs. Barton died Saturday, October 13, in an automobile accident.

Mrs. Barton graduated from Dubberly High School in 1968. She was an active member of Beech Springs Baptist Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Daughters of the American Revolution.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Earl Barton; and parents, Imogene Young Brown and Christopher C. Brown.

She is survived by her sons, Shawn Barton and wife Kristin of Minden and Shannon Barton and wife Amber of Heflin; daughter, Gwendolyn Barton of Minden; three granddaughters, Madison Blakeley, Macy Barton and Katelynd Barton; brothers, Kenneth Paul Brown of Clarksville, Tenn., William "Bill" Brown and wife Teresa of Nevada, Texas, and Jonathan Mark Brown of Minden; sister, Pamela B. Lee and Husband Allen of Minden; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
