Our lovely, gracious wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and special aunt returned to her Father in Heaven, April 12, 1999 from her daughter's home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Beth was born in her grandparent's home in Union, Utah, August 3, 1919, to Clyde W. and Eva M. Berrett Brady.
Her parents resided in the East Millcreek area where she attended Sherman School, Granite Jr. High, and Granite High School.
She also attended LDS Business College and the University of Utah.
She was courted by the love of her life, Robert L. Booth, and married him July 24, 1942.
Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple.
Beth worked for BYU in Provo for many years as a secretary, first to President Ernest Wilkinson and then at BY High School for Dr. Read.
After a move to Salt Lake, she worked for the Jordan School District at Midvale Jr. High and then helped open Brighton High School.
As in all areas of her life, her work was meticulous and exacting.
Beth was a beautiful seamstress, a wonderful cook and an enthusiastic gardener.
She played the organ for her ward for 26 consecutive years. Most of all, Beth had a great love of her family and friends and life and she was an exemplary woman.
Survived by her husband; daughter Catherine (Gordon) Thurman; son, Jeffrey R. Booth; three brothers, Robert (Irene) Brady, Vernon (Ilene) Brady, Ted (Janeen) Brady; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will greet friends at Memorial Estates Mountain View, 3115 E. 7800 So., Friday, April 16, 1999, from 6-8 p.m. and prior to the service at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 1999 at Cottonwood Heights 1st Ward, 7075 So. 2245 E.
Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
