OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)

Mrs. Mary Catherine Welch, 90, died at 2:15 a.m. Friday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Clark, 90 Grant Street, after an illness of six weeks.

Born Jan. 6, 1867 in Snell, Ark., Mrs. Welch had resided in Wabash 18 years, coming here from Auburn. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarine. Her marriage to William Welch took place in DeKalb County, and he survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. George (Inez) Clark, Wabash, Mrs. Claude (Rose) Lewis, Newport, Fla., and Mrs. Waldo (Clara) Holman, Seattle, Wash.; a son and a daughter from a former marriage, Mrs. Lois McDougall, Auburn, and William Wideman, Wichita, Kans.; a brother, Dave Blevins, Paul's Valley, Okla.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral sevices will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Wire Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Martin and the Rev. Guy Mowery officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home.
