WILLIAM S. KEPLAR

William S. Keplar, 75, Nelsonville Rt. 2, died Sunday afternoon at his home.

Born in Nelsonville, the son of the late William B. and Etta Keplar, he was a lifelong resident of the area. He operated the Mine Tavern at Nelsonville and was a member of the Nelsonville Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; two daughters, Mrs. Auldeane Whitlatch of Nelsonville and Mrs. Vandella Bay of Columbus; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Andrew, Arthur and John, all of Nelsonville. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Edna Hornbeck and a brother, Charles Keplar.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Warren Funeral Home, Nelsonville, with the Rev. John Lloyd Evans officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home.
