A life-long resident of Hamilton County she was born on the farm at R.2, Sheridan, where she lived for eighty years until she entered the nursing home. She was born Sept. 7,1877, daughter of Thomas and Sarah Baker. She married James H. Campbell and he died in 1947. For many years she was the Ledger correspondent for Bakers Corner. A member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church she also belonged to the Women's Relief Corps.
She is survived by a step-son, Thomas E. Campbell, of Florida; three nephews, Malcolm D. Baker, Sheridan; William L. Baker, Columbus, Ohio; Thomas L. Baker, Pompano Beach, Fla., and three nieces all of Carmel, Mrs. Doris Hinshaw, Mrs. Rachel Thornburg and Mrs.Sarah Wilson.
