Lillian Viola Kelsey was born to parents Foster and Helen Kelsey on Nov. 19, 1923. She died Oct. 15, 2009, at the Hospice Unit of Citrus Memorial hospital.
Lillian and predeceased husband, Robert Edward Stellmach, moved from Erie, PA, to Largo, FL, in 1953, where they raised 5 children. They operated the "Little Buckaroo Nursery and Kindergarten" for 20 years. Lillian worked at Southern Oaks and Walsingham Elementary as a remedial reading and math teacher. Her passions were children, animals and painting.
She will be missed by her family: daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and William Micklon of Lecanto, FL; son, Robert Neal of Clearwater; son, Gary and wife Colleen of Winston-Salem, NC; son, Lee and wife Pat of Beverly Hills, FL; and son, Lynn and wife Crystal of North Wilkesboro, NC; and 10 grandchildren. Lillian is also the guardian angel for 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service for Lillian Stellmach on Sunday, Nov. 29, at 4 p.m. at 2833 W. Laureen St., Lecanto, FL 34461; (352) 527-7442. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Hospice of Citrus County, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
