Daughter of the late Paul Simpson Cromer and the late Mamie Belle King Cromer. She retired first from the Holiday Inn in Summerton as restaurant manager. She was also the manager of the Econo Mart in North Summerton. She was a member of the Summerton Presbyterian Church. After her retirement, she moved to Sumter where she attended the Wise Drive Baptist Church. She was a beautiful, caring and kindhearted mother and Nana who was greatly loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Robert "Robbie" Cromer Jones of Columbia; her daughter and son-in-law, Markeeta "Martie" J. Hatchell (Henry) of Charleston; her grandsons, Ty Alan Green (Marybeth), Dr. Bryan Everett Green (Dr. Amanda) and Dr. Matthew Lee Hatchell (Dr. Alisha); great-grandchildren, Mary Katherine Green, Branson Green, Langston Green and Hanna Hatchell; a very special person, Gary W. McGhee; three step-grandchildren, Hank, Celeste and Brett Hatchell; a brother, Proctor Cromer (Lois); a sister, Doric C. Strickland; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first son, Richard Alan Jones; a brother, James Cromer (Sudie); a sister, Vivian Price (Hilton); and a brother-in-law, Berry Strickland.
