On October 27th, a fine lady who answered to Annie, Anna-Margaret, Sis, Mom and Grandma and Great Grandma left us to return to her Heavenly Father. Anna Margaret (Fry) Helm was born on November 25, 1928. She grew up in Horseshoe Bend, the daughter of John and Anna Fry. She learned to run and play with Her brothers Martin "Bud" (Eleanora) Fry, John "Jack" (Ruth) Fry, and Donald "Sonny" Fry. She attended schools in Horseshoe Bend, and Boise, Idaho which required her to live in Boise during the school year. After High School she went North to attend the University of Idaho, where on the first day of school, she met her life's love Steve whom she married in March of 1949. They were later sealed all time and Eternity on April 9, 1983 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints (LDS) Temple in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Together they lived in Southeast Idaho, Southwest Idaho, and finally settling down in Horseshoe Bend where they raised four children Analee (Dale) Harriman, Sue (Jim) Kerbein, Kathy (Dar) Safar-Fashandi, and Martin (Phyllis) Helm. She loved her family and raised them with love. Ann was a member of several organizations in Horseshoe Bend and believed in being a good citizen and member of her community. She especially loved to get together with her family for birthdays, anniversaries and summer barbeques, and especially liked to shop with her daughters. She always had a welcoming smile and a hug. She loved attending church and spending time with her church family, everyone got hugs. Ann is with her Heavenly Father and we know that she is content. She has left an empty spot at our table and we will grieve, but we will also celebrate because she has left enduring memories that she has bequeathed to us all. Ann leaves behind her husband (Steve), brothers (Jack and Bud), her children Analee, Sue, Kathy, and Martin. Her grandchildren Misty (Derek) Gardner, Cheryl(Patrick) Deems, Kevin, Joe, Cyrus, Stephen, Kelly, and Katie. Two Great grandchildren Cale and Torin and numerous nephews and nieces on both the Helm and Fry sides of the family. Anna was preceded in Death by her parents John and Anna Fry, her little brother Sonny Fry, granddaughter Angela Harriman, and her Great Granddaughter Hannah Deems. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday October 31, 2009 at the LDS Ward chapel in Sweet, Idaho. Burial will follow at the Pioneer Cemetery in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. Please, all flowers should be sent to The Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett,ID, and all donations to the Horseshoe Bend Senior Center.
