Reta Jane Drummond Lewis, 61, of Moberly, Missouri, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly, Missouri.
Reta Jane was born on July 14, 1948 to Carl Adams Drummond and Jessie Elizabeth (Boag) Drummond in Downing, Missouri.
Reta married Richard Lewis on June 9, 1985.
Reta worked at Stubbins Regional Family and Youth Center in Moberly for 28 plus years, until she retired due to health problems.
She was a member of the Coates Street Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Lewis; also surviving include, sisters, Barbara Seamster and husband, Dean of Memphis, Missosuri, Carolyn June Root and husband, Con of Newburg, Missouri; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Marcia Lewis of Moberly, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Debbie Seamster, Mike and Laura Seamster, Lisa Miller, Kieli (Lewis) and Kirk Morris, Robert and Linda Lewis II; great-nephews and nieces, Chris, Josh, Cassie and Jessie Seamster, Sarah and Josh Morris, Anah, Tre and Marie Lewis; great-great-nieces, Hannah and Ruby Seamster; other relatives and friends.
Reta was preceded in death by her parents.
Services were held October 2, 2009, at Cater Funeral Home with Rev. Wallis Landrum officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery in Moberly, Missouri.
