1952 Obituary St George, Utah
Mrs. Tressa Tolman Hunting, 53, wife of Wayne Hunting and native of Idaho, died here Sunday at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Richard Grimm, after a long illness.

She was born Sept. 21, 1900 [1899], in Marion, Ida., a daughter of Joshua Alvin and Mary Jane Gorringe Tolman. She attended school there and later moved to Salt Lake City where she resided.

On May 2, 1933, she was married to Mr. Hunting in Salt Lake City.

They resided in Southern Idaho and Northern Utah communities until early in 1950 when they moved to St. George.

She is survived by her husband, St. George; a son Burl Hunting; three daughters, Mrs. Lamar (June) Bundy, Mrs. Richard (Joy) Grimm and Mrs. Melvin (Belva) Gardner, and five grandchildren all of St. George; 10 brothers and sisters, William Tolman, Pocatello, Ida.; Owen Tolman and Mrs. Lydia Egbert, Twin Falls, Ida.; Osborn Tolman, Fairview, Wyo.; Daniel Tolman, Vale, Ore.; Parley Tolman, Oakley, Ida.; Mrs. Alice Larson, Mrs. Fannie Cunningham and Mrs. Louise Cranney, all of Burley; Mrs. Myrtle Freestone, Kimberly, Ida.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in St. George First Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, by Maiben Ashby, bishop.

Friends may call at the Grimm residency, 161 N. 400 West, Wednesday after 11 a.m. Burial in St. George City Cemetery will be directed by Cannon Funeral Home.
