Ida Inez Roberts was the daughter of Charlie Bethel Roberts and Mary Elizabeth Burkhalter Roberts.

Her first marriage was to Horace T. Bond, there was three children born to this union. Her second marriage was to Guy B. Thomas, they were the parents of two children.

Inez resided in several south Ms. counties, December 1946 she was living in Heidelberg, Jasper County Ms., she resided in White Sands, Pearl River County Ms. for about the last 30 years of her life.

If a person was down on their luck and had no place to live, Inez would take them into her home and treat them like family as long as they needed or wanted to stay. Of course she knew the people or knew of them through relatives of friends.

When she did her grocery shopping, she never failed to buy the children treats. She loved animals and always had several cats and dogs.

She never seemed to be irritable with anyone. She loved her children dearly and looked forward to them coming home to be with her on weekends when they worked on jobs in other locations.
