SSGT Spencer B. Fox of Westmont, NJ was killed in action over Kiskoros, Hungary on April 12th 1944 on his 13th mission over enemy territory. Fox served in a B-24 medium bomber crew, as both a nose gunner and as a radio operator during his time overseas. He had been awarded the Air medal with Oak Leaf Cluster prior to his death.

Gravesite Details

The remains of Spencer Fox, James Ormsbee & Kenneth Speaker were recovered after war's end in Sept 1945. They were returned to the United States and buried together here at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Missouri.
