Death of Dr. Magruder Muncaster
Rockville, Maryland, November 29, 1901.
Dr. Magruder Muncaster, son of Mrs. Harriet Muncaster of this place, and at one time a prominent Washington practitioner, died about 7:30 o’clock last evening, at the home of his mother, aged forty-two years. An affection of the kidneys with resulting complications was the cause of death. Dr. Muncaster’s illness began several years ago. Because of his failing health he was several years ago forced to give up the practice of his profession and has since resided here. His condition did not become alarming until a few days ago, when he began to grow rapidly worse.
Deceased was a brother of Dr. Stuart Muncaster and Mr. Alexander Muncaster of Washington, Mr. Walter Muncaster of Cumberland, Mrs. John J. Higgins and Mr. Calvin Muncaster of Rockville, Mrs. John H. Cassaway of Germantown. He was unmarried. The funeral will take place at 11 o’clock tomorrow morning, from the late residence of the deceased, the interment to be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
