Funeral services for W. D. Wilson, 68, living southeast of Wagoner, who died unexpectedly Monday night, February 24, 1941, in a Muskogee hospital, will be held here Thursday afternoon.
Mr. Wilson was in the hospital recovering from injuries received in an automobile accident in Muskogee some three weeks ago at the time of his death. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. George Wassom, Okmulgee, former pastor, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. J. B. Nelson, pastor.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of the Hersman Funeral Home. Services at the grave will be held by the Wagoner I.0.0.F. Lodge, members of which will also serve as pallbearers. All members of the I.0.0.F. Lodge have been asked to be at the hall by 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon to take part in funeral services.
Besides his wife, Mr. Wilson is survived by three daughters, Betty June and Dorothy Jean, of the home and Mrs. W. M. Brooks, Long Beach, California and four sons, George, William and Lee, of the home and Everett of Ivanhoe, California. One sister, MR.s Alice Stubblefield, Bristow, and two brothers, J. L. Choteau, and J. H. of Bristow, also survive.
