Lucy B. Baker, age 86, of Brownwood passed away Monday morning July 19, 2010 at the Cross Country Care Center.
She was born April 13, 1924 in Georgetown, Texas the daughter of the late James Lewis and Hallie Ada Knight Lancaster. She was married to Floyd David Baker in Coleman County on March 8, 1944. She was a Methodist and had lived in Brownwood since 1992. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Baker of Brownwood, two grandsons David Schiff of Goldthwaite and Kevin Baker of Bangs, six great grandchildren Bryant Cahill, Hunter Schiff, Kenzie Baker, Brayden Baker, Charley Schiff, and Peyton Jo Schiff; a nephew Wilbur Troy Lancaster of Irving, a cousin Debbie Roach of Bangs
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Bill Baker, and two brothers, Jay and Wilbur Lancaster.
