Craig C. Blair, 80, a former resident of New Bethlehem RD 2, died Monday, March 20, 1989, at Somerset following a lengthy illness. He had lived in Somerset the past two years. Born on April 29, 1908, in Porter Township, Clarion County, he was a son of the late Edgar and Emma (Painter) Blair. Mr. Blair was first married to the former Sarah Maude Miller, who died in 1931. He later married Flossie Nulph Algoe, who preceded him in death in 1986. Mr. Blair was a retired employee of Pullman Standard Company of Butler. Survivors include one son, Paul Blair of Indiana; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Ruth) Bowersox of Somerset; two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Maxine) Barlett of New Bethlehem RD 3 and Mrs. Mabel Chandler of Milton, Fla., two brothers, James (Slim) D. Blair of New Bethlehem RD1 and Maxwell (Shorty) Blair of New Bethlehem RD 2; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, both wives, and two brothers, Milfred and Judd Blair. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery at New Bethlehem RD 2.
