Marian (Lane) Taylor Fisher, 70, of Waco, passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at a Waco hospital. Services will be 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at OakCrest Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gerald Dudley officiating. Visitation will be held before service 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Marian was an organ donor.

Marian was born in the township of Woodstock, Lanawee County, Michigan, to the late Alonzo and Wilma Lane. She moved to Waco in 1982 and was married on December 31, 1985, to Luther Tyrone "Tony" Fisher. Marian was a member of the Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney. Marian enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her grandchildren, and crafting picture frames until she retired in 2007. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Fisher, on March, 27, 2009.

She is survived by sons, John Taylor and his wife, Jean, of Cocoa, Fla., Jerry Taylor and wife, Donne of Cocoa, Fla., Jason Taylor, of Mercersburg, Pa., and Jeff Taylor, of Waco; daughter, Janet Akridge and husband, Buddy, of Whitney; adopted daughter, Wanda Hinojosa, of Waco; stepchildren, Luther Fisher Jr. and wife Melissa of Robinson, Tina Callanan and husband, Tim, of Belize, Teresa Ezzell, of Alabama and Jimmy Fisher, of Gatesville; 24 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Cindy Whitfield, of Pensacola, Fla.; and brothers, Lonnie Lane, of Pensacola, Fla., and Charles Lane, of Ohio.
