He was born as Joost Fabriek (= Factory) in June 1880 at the dairy farmers village Oldetrijne, municipality Weststellingwerf, in the southern part of the Dutch northern province Friesland.

Farmer Joost Fabriek married on 13 May 1904 at Wolvega, seat of the municipality Weststellingwerf, at the age of 23 years to the also 23 years aged Albertje Boersma, born at Oosterzee, mun. Lemsterland, Friesland too, daughter of Girbe Boersma and Margje van der Wal.

Farmer Joost Fabriek (28 y) arrived on 27 April 1909 with his wife Albertje (27 y) and their children Pier (4 y) and Margje (1 y) on the SS Nieuw Amsterdam at New york, Ellis Island. Their last residence place in the Netherlands was Oldetrijne, mun. Weststellingwerf, Friesland, and their destination is Manhattan, Gallatin County, in the southwestern part of Montana, where his father P[ier] Fabriek lived, who emigrated in May 1908 with his wife Grietje and their children Jantje, Wobbigje, Geesje, Dirk and Anne Fabrick to the USA, firstly to Orange City in Iowa.

Joost P Fabrick (39 y) lived in 1920 with his wife Alberta (38 y) and their children Peter (14 y), Maggie (12 y), Gilbert (10 y), Anthony (6 y) and Dudley (3 y) still in Gallatin County, Montana.

In 1930 Joseph Fabrick, (49 y) resided with his wife Alberta (48 y) and their children Margaret (22 y), Gilbert (20 y), Anthony (16 y), Dudley (13 y) and John (10 y) at Thief River Falls, Pennington County, Minnesota.

In 1940 Joseph Fabrick, 58 y and a real estate dealer with an own office, still resided with his wife Alberta (57 y) and their children Margaret (32 y) and John (20 y) at an own home, worth $3800, at Thief River Falls City, Pennington County, Minnesota. In 1935 they lived at the same place.

Joseph or Joe P. Fabrick died in July 1956 in Minnesota at the age of 76 years. His widow Alberta died there four months later, in December 1956.
