Nathan Sandel, 74, Ravenna, a native of Coshocton County, died at 10:30 pm, Thursday at the Robinson Hospital at Ravenna following a short illness. A retired hammer mill operator at a feed mill, Mr Sandel was born 25 February, 1879 in Franklin Township, a son of Jacob and Elizabeth Kreis Sandel. He was confirmed in the Zion Lutheran Church near Adamsville. The survivors are two sisters, Mrs Geneva Lapp, Isleta and Mrs Emma Stagmyer, West Lafayette Route 1; two brothers, George Sandel, Coshocton and Jess Sandel, Newcomerstown Route 3. One brother and three sisters are deceased. Services will be conducted at 1:30 pm, Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home in charge of Rev F M Koepplin, pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church, and burial will be in the Zion Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Sunday at the funeral home and Monday until time for services.
