Herman Weiskotten
Herman G. Weiskotten Jr., 55, of 4812
Ridge Road, Cazenovia, died early today
at home.
He was born in London, England, March
24,1922, and was the son of the late Dr.
Herman Weiskotten, former Dean of the
Syracuse University Medical School, and
Kathryn Herre Weiskotten.
Mr. Weiskotten married the former Kathryn
Morrow, June 23, 1949, in Cazenovia.
He was a resident of Cazenovia for the
past 28 years.
Mr. Weiskotten was a graduate of
Syracuse University and was employed as
a senior conservation educator at the Rogers
Conservation Center in Sherburne.
He was a member of Cazenovia Presbyterian
Church, vice president of the New
York State Outdoor Education Society and
was a member of the Cazenovia Advisory
Conservation Committee. He was also a
member of the Chenango Chapter of the
New York State Archaeology Society!
Surviving besides his wife are five sons,
Eric of Albany, Thomas of Tucson, Ariz.,
Paul of Syracuse, Daniel and Kurt at
home; a daughter, Jean of Utica, and a
sister, Mrs. Jay (Margaret) Doane of
Liverpool.
Memorial services will be Friday at 2
p.m. in Cazenovia Presbyterian Church,
the Rev. Benjamin Lake officiating..Burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Cazenovia.
There are no calling hours. "Contributions
may be made to the Mid-York Conservation
Fund, Inc., Box Q, Sherburne,
N.Y. 13460.
