Ann "Nancy" Gordon, a lineal descendant of Pocahontas, daughter and only child of Thomas and Margaret Murray Gordon was married June 13, 1795, to Henry Embry Coleman of "Woodlawn", son of John Coleman of Halifax, VA and his wife, Mary Embry of Gloucester, VA, who settled in Brunswick, VA. Margaret "Peggy" Murray who was born on Feb 8, 1748, daughter of John Murray and Annie Bolling, married Thomas Gordon who was born abt. 1744 and came from Galloway and was a merchant and a member of the Petersburg firm of Westmore, Gordon and Murray. They lived at "Blandford".
